Golden Friday

Yesterday was busy.  After work my girlfriends and I went to the National Harbor for Happy Hour.  Mmmmm, the drinks at Mexican Rose were fantabulous.  I didn't get home until late so I didn't get a chance to post what I wore to work on Friday, so here you go.  I hope you like:D

Belts

For one reason or another I couldn't understand the fascination with wearing belts with dresses, sweaters, etc.  Sure they can make your waist seem small and accentuate or hide certain things but I still wasn’t a fan.  Until I actually wore a belt with a dress; it was like the red sea parted.  I realized I was free.  I must say I’m a fan now.  I was looking online this weekend and came across some cute affordable finds at Charlotte Russe.

Q of the Day#1: Would you join your significant other’s Fantasy Football League?

 The other day I asked my s/o if I could join his league b/c my league from the last two years has dispersed and frankly was boring.  He told me the only way I could join is if I didn’t talk trash against his team.  Well my response to him was, “BS…If I can’t talk smack across the board then I can’t be in your league.  I don’t show favoritism when it comes to sports; you’re the friend-nemy in this case.”  Is it my fault he likes the Panthers?  Needless, to say he hasn’t mentioned inviting me into his league:(

Feeling Me Right Now

You ever wake up late and still feel like nothing is going to piss in my grits today?  Well, that’s how I feel.  I woke up an hr late and still managed to get to work on time.  However, my skirt will not stop riding up so now I’m walking funny b/c I’m trying to prevent the dang skirt from riding up…  Be as it may, this skirt will not ruin my day.  Since I was running late, a pic of my look will get posted later tonight. I thought to wear navy blue pumps or a pair of animal print flats but decided on a pair of cognac colored flats.  I hope you like;D

Welcome

Hello All: I’ve been pondering over the creation of a blog for weeks now.  I love to shop and have tons of clothes w/ tags and late one night I was searching for work looks “inspiration” and I stumbled upon a Petite Blogger and was inspired.  So I decided today in mid-July to start Creative Intentions.  What I realized is the lack of blogs for women who work in corporate/government/office settings as I.  I still believe you can look fabulous and not like your typical drone in the aforementioned environments.  I hope you enjoy the looks I put together.
